Clubs played for: Scunthorpe United, Blackburn Rovers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, York City, Doncaster Rovers, Hull City, Shrewsbury Town, Harrogate Town (1986-2004)


Biography: Atkins briefly managed Doncaster Rovers and Shrewsbury Town in a caretaker role whilst he was a player. He joined non-league Harrogate Town as player-coach in 2003 and was promoted to assistant manager before he left to take up a similar role at Stalybridge Celtic. He is currently the manager of Matlock Town.
