Biography: Joined Norwich after leaving the army. Moved to Gillingham where played he alongside Ron Saunders. Drifted into non league football playing for King's Lynn for seven years. Remained in the town to work as a master decorator.

Bacon, Ron Over 40 years ago now. I was working with a shopfitting company from Hereford in Kings Lynn. Ronnie was sub contracting, doing the painting and every night we would have a session of perfecting headstands and handstands. He was still very fit in his forties. All good fun plus’s few record sales. R.I.P. Ron.
