Bailey, Mike Mike is my brother in law, my husband Peter is Mikes wife Barbara’s brother . Apart from being a brilliant footballer, he has always been a loving husband and father and if course grandfather, he is a kind, caring gentleman, we see them often as they live only 15 minutes away from us.

Bailey, Mike Mike's wife was my cousen's best friend, so Mike came to a number of our family parties in the 70's/80's. My mum's maiden name was Bailey, so Mike always called her 'Mrs Bailey Russell'. A great laugh and larger than life character.

Bailey, Mike I went to school, Alderman Leach in Gorleston, and was in the same class as Mike. We both played in the school's football team and became very successfull both in the under 13's and, in the under 15's not losing a match. He may remember me by a nickname of "shimmy". We wrote the football reports for the school magazine's together. Last time I saw him was on the Southtown playing field in G t Yarmouth, about 45 years ago when he gave me his address in Blackheath, and asked me to keep in touch. Unfortunately I lost it.
