Biography: Barton hung up his boots in 2005 and worked as a television football pundit and a consultant for Brighton & Hove Albion. He went on to be a pundit for FOX Sports in the states as well as being named U18 coach for Los Angeles Galaxy. He is currently the manager of newly formed MLS side San Diego Flash.
