Biography: Nicknamed 'The Cat', Peter was the son of a Swiss born restaurateur. He was unfortunate to be at his peak at the same time as the great Gordon Banks, and as a result only collected seven England caps. However, with Chelsea, he was a great hero of many victories, notably the 1970 Cup Final. He made 600 League appearances, before taking his family off to the Isle of Mull, where he worked as a postman and occasionally turned out for Scottish league sides. Now lives in Birmingham and has coached goalies for several league clubs as well as helping out with the England squad. (Played for England in the 1970 World Cup quarter final against Germany)
