Biography: Born 11 April 1938 in New York City. Baker was a striker, who moved to Liverpool as a child and spent sixteen years in English and Scottish football. Surprisingly Baker spent less than a year with Manchester City despite scoring 14 goals in 37 League games. He was sold on to Hibernian. Gerry went on to play 7 games for the USA scoring 2 goals, He dropped into non league football for five years and also worked for Jaguar in their Coventry factory
