Biography: A Left-back born on 2 October 1979 in Liverpool. Ball started out in Liverpools youth ranks before signing for local rivals Everton where he made over 120 league appearances and won his solitary England cap. He joined Manchester City in January 2007. He was famously banned for stamping on Cristiano Ronaldo's chest later that year. He was released by City after missing nine months with a knee injury. He has since made just 3 league cup appearnces for Leicester City. In 2012 he was again in trouble with the FA this time for his comments on Twitter regarding Anthony Cotton of Coronation Street fame while Cotton was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
