Biography: A Sheffield born Inside-left in1890 who scored a goal every other game in nearly 400 matches for Derby County and Manchester City. And is still considered as one of their greatest players and had a street named after him in 1977. Barnes career came to an end at Oldham Athletic he scored 16 goals in 19 games for them. He retired from football at the end of the 1926 season. He spent the rest of his life in Manchester dying in his Clayton home in 1961 aged 71
