Biography: Barnsley born & bred he is best remembered for his career at Newcastle United where he played over 200 games in the early 1970's as a winger who set up many goals for the strikeforce of Malcolm McDonald & John Tudor. He later managed Frickley Athletic but resigned after a 12-0 defeat to Worksop a Unibond league record.He used to run a family fruit & florist busines in Barnsley & was coach at Redfearns Junior F.C. His son Carl also played for Barnsley & grandson Jamie Sellers signed for Sheffield Wednesday aged 14 in 2011.

Barrowclough, Stewart Grew up with Stewart on King Edward Street. Definitely remember the Lamberts with all the mirrors etc. Not seen one since as good-looking as Stewart. I also seem to remember Stewart putting a garden fork through his foot and still went on to be the great footballer he was

Barrowclough, Stewart Just wondered what happened to Stewart. Was friends with him and family when I lived in Harborough Hill Road when I was young.

Barrowclough, Stewart Played with you in the intermediate league for Barnsley at Oakwell won 5-1 can’t remember against who,can you,played inside forward or right half? Best regards.
