Ralph Coates

Birthplace: Hetton-le-Hole

Position: Winger

Biography: Played four times for England and made 214 appearances for Burnley before moving on to White Hart Lane, in 1971. Ran a catering business in Hertfordshire, and occasionally turned out for charity soccer matches. In later years he worked as a match day host for Tottenham Hotspurs. He suffered a series of strokes in December 2010 & sadly died on 17th December 2010 aged 64.

Coates, Ralph I think he also ran a small newsagents kiosk in Euston Station. By the underground escalators back in the 80s
