Birthplace: St Monans, Scotland

Position: Winger

Biography: Played in Scotland before moving to Chelsea in April 1966 for £72,000. Stints with Memphis Rogues and later California Surf gave Charlie the taste of American life that tempted him to stay. Now lives in Cincinnati, and runs a successful soccer school. (FA Cup winner at Wembley in 1970 with Chelsea)

Cooke, Charlie Never forget Charlie go for a ball in a race for it by two opposition players at Dens Park, Dundee. Charlie just got to it before them but never touched it, feinted one way sending the opposition in the opposite direction as he skipped away with it. A moment of brilliance which I have never forgotten.
