Tommy Cassidy

Birthplace: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Position: Midfielder

Biography: A midfield player he played in the Football League between 1970-83. He won 24 caps for Northern Ireland and was a member of their 1982 World Cup squad. He finished his playing career with APOEL in Cyprus and went on to manage them between 1985-89. Since 1993 he has managed five English non league teams being at Workington for the longest spell between 2001-07. He has also managed three Irish teams. His last club was Blyth Spartans whom he left in October 2012. He is still interested in returning to management. He lives near Newcastle Upon Tyne.
