Birthplace: Battersea

Position: Defender

Biography: A right back he played in the Football League between 1965-81. He made a total of 476 appearances for Queens Park Rangers between 1965-79. He won 5 full caps for England between 1976-77. He suffered a badly broken leg in October 1981 which may have ended his playing career. As a result of this he suffered from depression and committed suicide in March 1982 aged 34.

Clement, Dave He was a terrific player for QPR and a sad end to his life. It shows how seriously we should take mental health concerns.

Clement, Dave Remember Dave Clement giving out the medals at a final in the Morden little league when I was 11 or 12. I made it as a footballer I thought then!10 years later doing my ACL while playing for some team in Nottingham. Gave it up...sadly but remember getting those medals.
