John Deehan

Born: 1957

Birthplace: Solihull

Position: Striker

Biography: Capped seven times by England and became player/coach at Manchester City in July 1988 and switched to Barnsley in the same role in 1990. Returned to his old club Norwich to succeed Mike Walker in January 1994, however he left the following year after a string of poor results. Later managed Wigan but is currently the Director of football at Grimsby Town. (Won a League Cup and Div 2 championship with Norwich)

Deehan, John I played in the same team as John during the 80’s. great player and character. Super dry sense of humour and scored many goals for the Canaries particularly when played just behind the front two. So shocked to hear the news. Bless you and Linda sending much love Peter x

Deehan, John I was at the same school as John. His nickname was Judda, not sure why. I last spoke to him in 1976 in the Olton Hall pub in Solihull. Hope you keeping well John.
