Biography: Northern Ireland international with 16 caps. In 1949 at the age of 36 became player-manager to Doncaster Rovers, winning promotion that season from the Third Division North. Lived at Poulton-le-Fylde, outside Blackpool until his death in 1990.(Won a League championship medal with Manchester City in 1937 and a cup winners medal in 1946 with Derby County.
