Facey, Ken Ken was my mothers cousin, I don’t remember meeting him but feel so proud to be associated with him. Ironically, I live very close to St Osyth where he retired. Wish I could wind the clock back…..

Facey, Ken I met Ken when i was working at Priory Park in St Osyth where Ken and his wife lived. I think Kens wife died a few months before he did. He was a lovely man who always wanted to talk about Leyton Orient and football in general, and had a bit of banter with him as I am a Hammer! My dad is in his 90s now and has been an O's supporter all his life, and still remembers Ken as a fantastic player.

Facey, Ken I played against Waterlows and Ken Facey was a permit player with them. We were in the London Business league and for the first season you were not placed in the lowest division. I was in goal and we lost 24-1.

Facey, Ken I was born in December 1941 and growing up I remember Ken Facey and though very young knew he was revered among the neighbours. We lived in Millfields Road and Ken live round the corner in Chippendale Street E5. As a small child and being a 'girl' at that, I remember a very nice young man who pretty much kept himself to himself. I was a tomboy and played football regularly. The boys used to call me out. I don't know if Ken knew this but he always had a nice smile for me.

Facey, Ken A wonderful Versatile footballer , Hugely underrated and extremely loyal to L0 .
I first started paying to see Orient when I was 7 in 1954 .( before then we went in for last twenty
Minutes when the gates opened , and I I’m pretty sure we climbed over the gates on a few occasions . I was looking at players whom I thought had played over 300 games for Orient
Peter Allen , Matt Lockwood , then Ken , and Stan Aldous came to mind I think there is about 8 but I don’t want to refer to books.
I think Ken worked for Waterlows the printers for a brief period as he was manager for a couple of friendlies we played, when I was about 17, he was an exceedingly pleasant man .
But it felt a bit of an antI climax as he seemed so ordinary in relation to my reverence!

Facey, Ken Ken Facey went to Millfields Road School , in Clapton My late cousin played football with him. Ken played for Leyton Amateurs and played in the Amateur Cup Final against Walthamstow Avenue. He signed
professional, and played initially as a right winger, At that time Facey and Pacey were regular strikers. He was an excellent crosser of the ball. He was a specialist penalty taker. He became an inside right and finally a wing half. He was an excellent reader of the game, and scored some spectacular goals.
