Francis, Terry When we were at Hartlepool Technical day school Terry took our class for P.E., and if you did something wrong eg. bullying another student, he would give you a choice of going to get the strap, or bend over and get a kick up the backside.We used to choose the kick as when you got the strap, you had to fetch it from boss Howerds, the headmasters office. We were all scared of him, and your name went in the headmasters book.When Terry used to kick you up the backside, he used to place your head in front of the climbing frame. When he kicked you you moved forward and banged your head on the frame. You got a double whammy which all the class laughed at, but it was better than the strap option.
