Halom, Vic An absolute hero of mine. I had the opportunity to meet him in a hospitality room where he proudly showed me his ‘73 F.A. Cup winners medal which he wore on a necklace, more than that he put it on me to have my photograph taken with him. A true legend and a gentleman to boot

Halom, Vic Jeg pleide å stryke skjortene hans da han var trener for Mo IL Mo i Rana. En flott mann. (I used to iron his shirts when he was the coach of Mo IL Mo in Rana. A great man.)

Halom, Vic Vic, lived next door to me when he played for Sunderland and I was just 12 years old and he would come out and play football with me in his high heel boots (fashion at the time!) in the street and within minutes about ten pals would appear and a full scale match would be underway. Great bloke and my Sunderland hero along with Billy Hughes.
