Hatton, Bob Bob Hatton part of the Holy Trinity at Blues. A legend who will live in the hearts and memories of all Blue noses who were fortunate to watch him play in the 70s. They don’t make them like Bob anymore unfortunately and it was a real privilege to watch him. KRO

Hatton, Bob I watched the great Birmingham team with Bob Hatton, Trevor Francis and Bob Latchford a great forward line I later moved to Sheffield and had the pleasure seeing Bob Hatton again play for Sheffield United teaming up with Keith Edwards Bob was a real workhorse and scored wherever he went.

Hatton, Bob As a kid watched Bob many times at St Andrews. He was a tremendous striker, along with Latchford & Francis. They should erect a statue in honour of the 'Holy Trinity' outside the ground with Bob Hatton taking centre stage. Thanks for the memories Bob!

HATTON, Bob Bob Hatton joined Cardiff in 1982 as a 35 year old in the days when forwards especially would usually be well retired by then. All that people have already said was still true of Hatton in his year with Cardiff: a great target man and finisher. As with all great players he always seemed to have loads of time.

Hatton, Bob Bob Hatton was a major contributor to a very strong Birmingham team in the early 70s. The plaudits for this teams successes have drifted towards the younger Francis and Latchford but Bob was a major attacking contributor too. Exploited the advantage of a low centre of gravity as have many good players - Charlton, Keegan etc
Hatton, Bob In my time as a Birmingham supporter (63 years) Bob was the best player in his position that I have ever seen. Strong, unselfish,good in the air and a brilliant finisher. Trevor Francis and Bob Latchford both had the benefit of playing alongside him. What a player.
Hatton, Bob Went to college with a guy related to Bob. Was invited to Bob's house in the evening after watching my team Blackburn play Carlisle at Brunton Park (1969). Not only a brilliant striker with all the attributes but a real gent too. Smart man as well who had more to his conversation than just football talk.
