Birthplace: Lambeth

Position: Right Winger

Biography: Spent 15 weeks at the club following a swap deal involving Jim Bowie when the Outside-right position was giving cause for concern. He quickly returned to Craven Cottage for a fee of £3,000. Spent 26 years as a caretaker in New Addington. Now lives in retirement in Selsey. The father of Martin, who had a spell as Chelsea's reserve coach in 1985.

Hinshelwood, Wally Sorry to say Wally passed away on Saturday 24th November aged 89 after a short illness at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester.

HINSHELWOOD, Wally My mum knew Wally in the 1950s she used to go to the Fulham supporters dance with Jonny Haynes & Jimmy Hill & Tosh Chamberlain & her friends she recalls there was lots of laughter & good friendships my mum is now 85 she has 2 children 7 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren her name then was Floss Cullane & it is lovely reminiscing about Fulham

Hinshelwood, Wally Wally Hinshelwood played some matches for a team that i played for in the early seventies. The team was Beulah FC in the Surrey Intermediate League.Home games were played at the Ashburton Playing Fields.I remember that he had lost none of his touch and skill. Des Grant dj and John Lyons actor also played in the side.
