Biography: Dave died at 6pm at a nursing home in Eastbourne, Sussex on Wednesday 23 January 2013, having suffered from Alzeimer's disease for many year. A true Professional.

Harper, David 'Dave' I went to school with Dave Harper and was his House Captain. His footballing talent was evident from the moment he arrived - he played for the school first XI while still a junior, if I remember rightly. He, I and two other lads were good friends, often in each other's houses and even more often playing football together in Beckenham Place Park. I still have a few photos of us in those days. I remember his excitement when he bought a record of an unknown singer - called Elvis Presley!. We all had to go to his house to listen to Heartbreak Hotel and Blue Suede Shoes. He wasn't a bad cricketer either (our fast bowler). I am sad to hear of his passing.
