Jones, Chris I went to the same secondary school as Chris (Les Quennevais). He was a very popular boy, all the girls were mad about him. I was supposed to have a date with him but wasnt let out, so that was that. I am so happy he made a great life for himself, though sorry his soccer career was cut short. One of my sons was collecting football stickers when he was young and needed a bit of help and there he was Chris Jones playing for Spurs. I told my son that I had gone to the same school as him and he was gobsmacked

Jones, Chris Had a trial with Tottenham in 1971, and I think Chris was the only player out of 60 players to make it. I played on the same side as Chris in the trial, and even though I was marked by Keith Osgood and scored 2 goals, Chris thought I was crap, and he was right. That’s why I’m now a paramedic.
