Biography: A defender who started and finished his playing career with Aldershot between 1969-84. He played 367 league games for them in his two spells. He still lives in Aldershot and is the landlord of the Golden Lion in the town.

Jopling, Joe Josie and I were at the same schools, he took my place in our school team (Stanhope Road). We had a fight on the school bus, neither of us would give in so we were happy to declare it a draw. My Mam and Dad were the Landlords of the New Mill Inn at Biddick Hall Estate. I now live in NZ where I emigrated to in 1972.
