Kelly, David I remember playing upfront with Ned around. 1981/2 for Kings Norton at Wythal on that mud waterlogged pitch. He would not pass me the ball. Lol. Also we played for different Sunday morning teams, he played for Kings Norton and I played for Bartley Green in a cup game and they beat us 4-3 - he scored all 4. I only got one that day. Also whilst he was at Cadbury and he played at Alvechurch myself, Ned and Colin Cambell went to the Old Lazy Fox pub. He had an old escort car then but moved on to a golf gti when at Walsall. Saw him at petrol garage in Weoley Castle, on his way to training. Last time spoke or saw him. He prob would not remember.

Kelly, David I remember David coming on as a substitute for Walsall vs my Chesterfield.

If I recall correctly it was an FA cup game, and when David came on it was 0-0. He totally ran the game when he came on scored and the game I think finished 3-0. I hated him for years after. Lol
