Birthplace: Ryton, County Durham

Position: Midfielder

Biography: Kendall became an overnight sensation when becoming the youngest player to appear in an FA Cup final in 1964. Enjoyed major success as Everton boss has since taken control of a number of other clubs including Manchester City and Sheffield United, is now an after-dinner speaker and newspaper columnist.

Kendall, Howard I recall Howard's playing days at St Andrews. He was a class act. I moved north in the 70's and was told about Howard's skill as a church organist! Apparently, he played the organ at a local Methodist Church when he was in his teens - quite an achievement.
