Biography: Kennedy became player-manager of Grimsby Town in 1969, he hung up his playing boots soon after but continued as manager until 1971. He then moved to Bradford City, where he became youth team manager and a coach before joining Dundalk in the same role. He returned to Bradford as manager in 1975 and remained with the club until 1978. He then briefly worked as a coach for Blackburn Rovers before retiring from football completely and moving home to Scotland.
