Birthplace: Ripon

Position: Centre-forward

Biography: An England international nicknamed the 'Tank' was bought to London by Tommy Docherty for £50,000 in March 1963. His only goal for the club was in the 7-0 rout over Portsmouth which clinched promotion. The strict discipline and demanding training methods of the manager led to a fall out between the pair and he was sold to Man City for £35,000. Is now retired living in Castle Vale, Birmingham after working in a pub, as a delivery driver and for a Sign Company.
