Biography: Danish international, was Glenn Hoddle's first signing for the club when he paid £400,000 to FC Sillthorg. Good in the air and quick, Kjeldberg took his time to adjust to football in England's top flight but once he settled, an effective partnership with Erland Johnson was formed. Played in the FA Cup Final defeat to Manchester United and just as it seemed that he was set for a long run in the team, a succession of niggling injuries stopped him in his tracks. His career never fully recovered. Is now a popular television host in his homeland presenting football and reality TV programmes and spends much of his time living in the South of France. Presents the popular Danish football magazine Onside.
