Birthplace: Edinburgh, Scotland

Position: Left-winger

Biography: A ball playing Scottish inside forward who spent three years at Stamford Bridge without becoming a first team regular. His true potential was never unearthed, but went on to enjoy much success with Ipswich Town. Worked as a newsagent, then as a salesman with Cadburys in Suffolk. Returned to Scotland in 1971 to work in his father's garage business then became a delivery driver for the Scotsman publications - retiring in 1993. He died in July 2006 aged 78.
