LOCHHEAD, Andy I've been a Villa fan home and away for 50 years. Andy Lochhead and Paul McGrath are my all time favourite players. I remember Andy as being big, strong and very brave. I also remember the game when he was on the opposing bench with Oldham. When he walked along the touch line to the bench the whole stadium stood to applaud and sing his name, it was extremely emotional. I met Andy and his wife about 4 years ago, needless to say I was choking back the tears!

LOCHHEAD, Andy I don't suppose Andy will remember me , I went to Clydebank High School , same class as Andy and played in the same school team. Even then the was scoring goals for fun. I can go back further when he played for Whitecrook Primary School and they won the league.

Andy Lochhead I remember his first visit to Villa Park after he left, as player-manager of Oldham Athletic. He wasn't playing that day so just walked out of the tunnel towards the dugout on his own, in a suit. He didn't stop or acknowledge anybody, but the whole ground stood and applauded him. I was behind him, and even I could see he was trying not to cry.

LOCHHEAD, Andy I believe he is my cousin , I was born Margaret lochhead 1941 in govan to James and margaret lochhead

LOCHHEAD, Andy My first time at Anfield as a kid;I got in at 3/4 time against Burnley when the gate's opened.( I got into the Kop ). My first memory of getting into Anfield was The very vivid colours of the pitch'and kits. And Also : ANDY LOCHHEAD attacking The kop end goal.(my first memory) I have been a regular at Anfield since. But Andy was my first memory..

LOCHHEAD, Andy A quote from his Leicester days, when someone pointed out that he hadn't scored many goals for Leicester: 'It is not my job to score goals. My job is to unsettle the opposition'.

LOCHHEAD, Andy Fab memories of Andy playing for Villa, especially when he finally got his first goal after weeks of trying!
