Biography: A midfield player he played in the Football League between 1981-94. He made a total of 427 league appearances - 317 in two spells at Wigan Athletic which is a club record. He later played non league football and managed several sides including Congleton Town and Witton Albion. He sometimes coaches at Wigan Athletic's Centre Of Excellence and is involved in matchday hospitality at the club.
