Position: Centre-back /Right-back

Biography: A £1.2 million signing from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 1994, mainly as a right back due to injuries to Paul Parker, until the emergence of Gary Neville. But then became a regular towards the end of his second season and after Steve Bruce departed to Birmingham, he cemented a regular place. He suffered from injuries but played a part in the charge to the treble after earlier being part of the double winning side. He remained at United in 2003 but mainly as a reserve after a string of injuries. He only won two Premier League winner's medals despite being part of six winning squads. May went on to become a part- time golfer as well as taking a job for a company that imports South African wine. He also works as a football television pundit and co-commentator for Manchester United's own TV station MUTV, and runs a company called United Nights which run "meet the player" events.
