Miller, Ian In the mid seventies I attended a part-time Business Studies course at Blackburn College of Technology and Ian was one my classmates. We all thought it was very cool to have a well-known footballer studying with us and I think he enjoyed being around some non-football people. He was a strong academic and I am surprised that he did not use his business skills more directly such as being a commercial director at a football club. But then who I am I to talk - I haven't exactly used my academic business skills well either.
