Morris, Mick I watched Mick Morris play for Port Vale as a boy, then for Stafford Rangers. He was a whole-hearted, committed player, who took up marathon running in later life. A long time resident of Clayton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, he could often be seen out and about in the area, unfailingly polite to everybody. A sad loss.R.I.P.Mick, and thanks for the memories.

MORRIS, Mick Mick (uncle Michael) is my Dads brother. He’s the middle of 3 boys. The eldest is Robert , my Dad, James is the youngest. Having been born in Plaistow, the boys grew up in Dagenham. My Grandparents lived in the same house for over 50 years until my Grandmother passed away in 2006. I can recall football trophy’s taking pride of place around their home. Football was a large part of their lives.
