Biography: McAllister was appointed player-manager of Coventry City in 2002, but resigned a year later to care for his ill wife. After nearly 4 years out of the game he was appointed manager of Leeds United in January 2008. He was sacked 11 months later, and in 2010 he signed a short term contract to return as a player for non-league Tadcaster Albion.
