Biography: Colin made his debut in the 7-3 win over Leyton Orient in November 1979. Over the next couple of seasons, he had plenty of chances, given Micky Droy's injury problems, but it wasn't until John Neal was appointed manager that he nailed down a regular start. Along with Joe McLaughlin, formed the bedrock foundations on which the 1984 Second Division Championship side was built and then the Full Members Cup Final victory two seasons later. It was assumed that he would be a one-club man and there was some dismay when it was announced that Bobby Campbell had sold him to Charlton Athletic for £430,000. Had a spell at Crawley before coaching at the Arsenal School of Excellence, but since 2001 he has coached football at Whitgift School in South Croydon.
