Biography: Pearson has established a career as a manager since his retirement in 1998. He firstly took chage of Carlisle United from between 1998 and 1999. He has since worked as a coach for Stoke City, assistant manager at West Bromwich Albion and as caretaker manager of the England U21 team. He then had two spells as caretaker manager of Newcastle United whilst he was on the coaching staff with the club, before going on to manage Southampton and currently Leicester City.
