Birthplace: Chesterton, Staffordshire

Position: Left-back

Biography: A Left-back he played in the Football League between 1968-80. He is best remembered for his time at Stoke City between 1968-76. During this time he was a member of the side which won the League Cup in 1972. He also won four England caps in 1974. After his playing career finished he set up his own business supplying fish,fruit & veg at the market in Liverpool three times a week. In 1984 he became manager of Leek Town & thereafter was manager or coach at Northwich Victoria,Port Vale,Chester City & Stoke City. He also coached in Kuwait & Malaysia. In 2007 he became youth coach at Plymouth & then for a short spell at Ipswich in 2010. During the last 20 years he has also been working with the FA on football courses. In recent times he has also set up his own Taekwondo Academy - Pejic Taekwondo. He also writes for the Stoke Sentinel newspaper and has regular slots on Signal Radio.

Pejic, Mike I was an apprentice at Stoke City in 1969/70. You had just been told about your appointment to 1st team. I remember it well. I am retired now. I am a stroke victim, had it 7 years.
