Biography: Signed in June 1983 for a bargain £40,000 as part of John Neal's rebuilding plans. He only missed two games all season as the Blues marched to the Division Two title in his first season. Then two years later, the lively midfielder was part of the Full Members Cup victory at Wembley before John Hollins sold him for ten times the sum that the club had originally paid out. Returned to the Bridge five years later for £485,000 a more mature player, but six games into his second spell he suffered a serious back injury which threatened his career. He was eventually released on a free transfer aged 35. Became assistant manager of Sheffield United and managed Barnsley before becoming a Sky pundit. Returned to management at Millwall, but has been a senior coach at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain since 2008
