Biography: Welsh international winger who arrived in Manchester from Wrexham for a fee of £300,000, under the reign of Dave Sexton. He appeared in a FA Cup Final against Arsenal at the end of his first season at the club. He might have lacked skill and shooting power but his work rate was beyond doubt, he became a better all round player under Sexton. However, he moved to Everton in exchange for John Gidman just weeks after the arrival of Ron Atkinson as manager in the summer of 1981. Was a youth coach at Wrexham until doing a stretch at Her Majesty's pleasure for his part in a counterfeit money scam. Is now a radio summariser and an after dinner speaker.
