Trebilcock, Mike Hi Mike, hope this finds you well. We worked together at Hexham, Newcastle. I am now retired and living the dream. So many good times at David’s. Good to see your page, I was telling my granddaughter about you. She plays for Olympic, premier league here in Newy, under 17’s. Take care. Hope to hear from you. Regards Ian.

Trebilcock, Mike I remember queueing for tickets to watch Pompey play Arsenal in the FA Cup the year that Arsenal went on to win the double (Charlie George scoring the winner) and seeing Mike on the corner of Carisbrooke Road smoking a pipe. Also remember him scoring two hat tricks in consecutive weeks and being dropped the following week because he didn’t like training. Still a legend to me

Trebilcock, Mike I was at Wembley for the 1966 Cup Final as a 9 year old. My cousin was a Wednesday fan so to be opposite. I supported Everton and have been a life long Evertonian as a result.

Trebilcock, Mike I played alongside Mike for a short spell in Sydney for Western Suburbs with Iswadi, an Indonesian international also in the side. It was a privilege to play with both. Mike was captain & led by example. He was held in high esteem both on & off the field. Happy days.

Mike Lived in Tavistock 50's / early 60's - now aged 78. Played football for Tavistock - not at Mike's standard. Married a Calstock girl, Janet Barry, who knew Mike quite well. Good standard footballers in that area at the time - Graham Southcott, Malcom Pender, Dave Ewings, Maurice Craze come to mind. We were very proud of Mike's achievements and so very, very pleased that his personal life turned out well in the end. Can still see him now playing for Plymouth Argyle - have supported them all my life. All the best, Mike.

Trebilcock, Mike In 1966 I could not a ticket for the 1966 Cup Final. Everton v Sheffield Wed. We left on the coach outside St George Hall at Midnight with my mate from work.We arrived at 6.30am, first we got a ticket from one of the barrow boys for ????6.00 then we headed up to Wembley to try and get another one. We looked at the clock and it 2.00pm .We agreed that if we did not get another ticket we would toss up for it. We then entered our last pub and a voice from the other side of the room said, Billy have you got a ticket it was a friend who lived in our street and he said this man has one to sell, it's 12 pound Price on the Ticket 5/6p I thought I might not see Everton here again, so between us we just got the money up and we were both made up and I had to work overtime to pay him back. But it was all worth while to see Mighty MIKE IT THAT DOUBLE and the Derek Temple hitting the WINNING GOAL.
