Biography: The history books will show how Norman became the youngest player to score at Wembley, and with Northern Ireland he broke the record for the youngest player to appear in the World Cup finals. He was also the first player to score in FA Cup and League Cup Finals in the same season. Norman notched up a total of over 250 appearances in a United shirt but under Sir Alex Ferguson, he struggled to find his form and was allowed to leave for Everton in a £750,000 deal in August 1989. Had it not been for persistent knee trouble which forced his retirement at the age of 25 in 1991, the same volumes may well have contained much, much more. Was a full-time student at Salford University where he studied Podiatry and works for the PFA, is a successful after dinner speaker, and also works as a match day host at Old Trafford.
