Biography: The 'Smiling Assassin' joined United for £12.6 million in August 1998 and was a key player in his first season, forming a formidable partnership with Andy Cole. He ended the season as leading scorer with 18 goals. He lost his way after tensions with Sir Alex over his relationship with glamour model Jordan. He was eventually sold to Blackburn Rovers at the end of that season for £2 million. Yorke was briefly made player assistant manager at Sunderland during the 2008-2009 season following Roy Keane's departure. He is currently the sports ambassador for Trinidad and Tobago, and in 2009 released his autobiography called "Born To Score". Has recently appeared as a pundit on Sky Sports.
