Anderson, Willie League Cup v Man U. Exciting player, just what football needs today. And Villa need now.

Anderson, Willie Always loved players with flair. Even though a staunch Villa fan loved to see down at Villa Park your Charlie Cooke’s of Chelsea and The great Denis Law. Willie Anderson was a beautifully balanced player especially with his pace and trickery and should have achieved more in his career, but I loved him. He was a class act, no doubt about that.

Anderson, Willie Like Charlie Aitken, Willie played in the first match I ever went to in the sixties aged 7. Used to really like when he cut in from the wing into the centre of the park to set up an attack. Willie was a youth player with George Best and to me he was as good I thought

Anderson, Willie I was at Villa Park in the 60's too. Charlie and Willie were my favourite players. Though Willie would break down the wing, outpace the defenders by a mile, then fall over. Probably 50% of the time. Very frustrating.
