Badger, Len I sent Len a Valentine's Card in the Sixties ...Saw him again at
a Seniors luncheon at CFC and he said he'd still got the card sent 50 years ago. Is that true ???

Badger, Len Many years ago, I think it was against Swindon on a Bramall Lane pitch that was so muddy and wet that hardly any of the players could turn and change direction, including a top class Len Badger. He was up against a rather portly Don Rogers who seemed to be the only bloke who could stand up and went past Len by booting the ball past him and going hell for leather too often for Len, who, in desperation, then grabbed him with both arms. I sympathized with him at the time from the terrace. Great times at The Lane. Murdoch and his money have spoiled football.
