Baldwin, Tommy 'Sponge' was never the most talented of the 'Kings Road' group of Chelsea players that included David Webb, Peter Osgood and Alan Hudson but he always gave 110% and was a firm favourite with the fans

Baldwin, Tommy I was a die hard Chelsea fan when I lived in London during 60's and 7o's. I remeber Tommy Baldwin as being one of the toughest players. Other memory of Tommy I have is when he became a big news in Tabloids for his affair with actor Michael Crawford's wife. I don't know how it all ended because I left England in late 70's but still continuing to be a Chelsea fan.

Baldwin, Tommy I'm pretty sure my dad Peter knew Tommy back in the late 70's/80's ....when my dad lived in tooting, i remember going to his house with my dad on one occasion and finding a football that i wanted to play with, but this one had all the team signatures on it and obviously i was only allowed to hold it and look it rather than kick it about , haha ..ill never forget that ,i was only about 5 years old

BALDWIN, Tommy I used to play snooker in Low Fell Snooker Hall with Tommy and his brother Peter when I was about 18 (1964). He was a good lad and never forgot his old haunts. Born and bred in Wrekenton I believe. Took advantage of telling anyone who would listen that I knew him. Well done local hero.
