Biography: England Youth winger, ended his career at the age of 26 in 1966. Now owns his own plumbing business in Fleet. (Won South East Counties League championship medal with Arsenal in 1956)

Dodson, David Used to watch Doddy on the left wing at Andover, and occasionally left back when they were pushed. If pace wasn’t all there later on, still ranked as a brilliant crosser of the ball and another ex-Pompey man Jeff Hodgkins benefited greatly in Western League runners up campaign.

Dodson, David David was our next door neighbour in Aldershot, and had to take me to hospital once when my brother gave me a huge cut on my head. I was friends with his daughter.
