Biography: A classic football journeyman of lower league clubs fearless & absolutely superb in the air.He hit the headlines in April 1964 when he scored for Bradford P A in a league game after only 4 seconds the fastest goal in the competitions history. Inducted into Stockport Countys Hall of Fame together with his strike partner Bill Atkins he also formed a partnership with David Shaw at Oldham & helped them win promotion in 1970-71.He scored 40 goals in 76 games for them. Finished his playing career in America before settling permanently in Las Vegas. He worked at Casinos for a number of years before becoming a mechanic at a Vegas golf course.

Fryatt, Jim I was brought up in Southampton next door but one to Jimmy's mum, Daisy. I am 12 years younger than Jimmy and only saw him play in his later years in his second spell at Torquay. A lovely man.
