Biography: A big physical defender he played in the Football League between 1977-89. He played for Queens Park Rangers in the 1982 F A Cup Final. He now works in Erdington as a Sports Prevention Manager which helps young offenders through sport.

Hazell, Bob I had the pleasure of playing with Bob at Port Vale. What a guy and inspiration to everyone at the club at that time. We formed a great understanding and effective partnership, but above all that he was myfriend. A true gentleman off the pitch.

Hazell, Bob Bob is a board member of one of the country's longest running black led grassroots football clubs Continental Star fc. Also trustee of Holford Drive community sports hub who engages 800 marginalised young people per week using sports as their medium.
