Hutchison, Tommy Watched Tommy when he came to Burnley for a couple of seasons. He always impressed me with his ability to create space for himself and when he was surrounded by opposition he always managed to lay the ball off or beat them. You could tell he knew his trade and even at about 36 was so good to watch.

Hutchison, Tommy My son bought your book, which you kindly signed, for me during a Legends Day visit to Coventry. I have only just got around to reading it and I must say what a superb read it is. It is certainly an eye opener for any budding lad thinking of turning professional.

Hutchison, Tommy Coventry city sold Tommy 10 years too soon. Absolute gem of a player and a man. Can still remember up the west end, Saturday afternoons with the lads. Those were the days my friend.

Hutchison, Tommy I used to watch when he played for Blackpool he always used play down the wing. I am sure he had the ball glued to his foot! I have seen as many as three players at him but he always came away with that ball on his foot. Brilliant player. I have never forgotten him and saw him as the George Best of Blackpool. I am in my 80th year but I have never forgotten him - a great man.

Hutchison, Tommy World class. Hugely under rated. Saw him leave many international defenders punching the turf in his wake.

Hutchison, Tommy I remember when I was a kid of 10 or 11 going to the Coundon social club with my dad and half brother. Tommy was often there playing darts with Bobby Mcdonald and occasionally Ian Wallace and a couple of others of the team. They were my idols especially Tommy, every time we went in he would ask my dad if it was OK for me to play darts with them (I was pretty good back then) so there was me playing darts with my heroes in my ccfc top with a glass of pop, absolutely incredible. What a true gent he is. Can you imagine any of the over paid, under talented "stars" doing that now? Not in a million years unless they were paid to.

Tommy My Dad Tom Ford played with Tommy at Dundonald and tells some wonderful stories of their time together.

Hutchison, Tommy Yes without doubt the greatest to play for Coventry City and the world. Hugely underrated by Scotland's inept managers should have been an international regular. Last saw him playing in Michael Gynn's testimonial at Highfield Road where he was easily the best player on the park at I think 47 yrs old playing with some of the so called greats. He was constantly fouled during his career when physical contact was the norm but hardly ever injured despite rubbish like Frank Lampard snr trying to take him out with a foot round his throat and Leicester's Steve Whitworth (God knows how he got an England cap!) being run so ragged he couldn't help but foul him. Without Tommy we would never have stayed in 1st division for as long as we did gave me and the fellow Westenders great joy in the 70's. Thankyou for everything Tommy Hutch

Hutchison, Tommy Watched Coventry City for 60 years and he is THE GREATEST playar to have ever played for the Club in my humble opinion.
